Ever wondered how all these are guy’s walking around with a huge biceps? Well maybe they use some anabolic steroids or maybe they have good genetics to build super muscles. Me, being a perfectionist and all, am struggling for years to get a bigger biceps and did a lot of research on how to grow muscles without steroids.
There are a lot of things to keep in mind but the main three basic rules for getting a big biceps are:
* Have a good workout
* Get proper nutrition
* Get enough rest
You also want your testosterone level reaching sky high to increase muscle growth and these three basic principles will help you with that.
Heavy weight lifting
Heavy weight lifting increases the testosterone level with a great amount. I always do some deadlifts and heavy squats because these two exercises do increase your test level. Be careful tough, don’t injure yourself.
Proper nutrition
A proper diet with a lot of proteins and carbohydrates is essential to grow a big biceps. Your body needs the carbs for energy. After your (biceps) exercise the blood transports all this energy into your muscle cells to fill up the reserves again. So if your diet lacks in carbohydrates you’ll never recuperate from a heavy workout and your muscle will not heal well during rest.
Also proteins are very important for muscle growth. With its anabolic characteristics it will definitely help you to grow a bigger biceps. You need about 150 to 200 grams of proteins a day (this depends on your body weight).Biceps Muscle
A good night sleep
As soon as you hit the pillow, your body is set in its anabolic mode. Yes… you grow muscles while you sleep. So the more you rest, the bigger your biceps will grow. So do not drink caffeine drinks or thee before going to bed. Don’t watch TV but read a book. I always have to yawn when I read a book (I probably don’t read a lot of good books) so they will definitely help me to get to sleep. You can also use some mild sleeping pills with melatonin in it. Take the 2 hours before going to bed.
Pre workout supplements
There are tons of pre workout supplements on the market today. Most of them are good but not all ingredients do what they claim to do. So I made a list of substances that will do the trick. Buy them separately and mix them together and you have your own pre workout supplement. You’ll save a lot of money this way.
* Branched Chained Amino Acids (BCAA’s) for muscle growth and protection
* Citrulline malate (NO product) for a better stamina and will pump your muscles
* Geranamine (1,3 dimethylamylamine) for energy and stamina
* Taurine for energy and a better stamina
* Creatine is NO product for stamina
* Beta analine is for a better stamina
* Caffeine for energy and stamina
Be careful with mixing them together, you don’t want a large amount of caffeine in your pre workout supplement. It’s also better to take creatine together with fast carbohydrates like dextrose or even better waxy maize starch after your workout. These carbohydrates will help absorb the creatine and helps transporting this compound in your biceps muscle.
So make a pre workout sup with dextrose, BCAA’s, Citrulline malate, Caffeine, Beta Analine, Taurine and Geranamine. Make a post workout supp with Creatine, waxy maize starch and BCAA’s. Take this immediately after your biceps workout and take your whey isolate 15 minutes later.
