BIO:
IN his early years, George Farah grew up in the military fighting in the civil war. A far cry from what he does today, but it was during this time that George developed an outlet and a way to cope with the adversity; it was his training and working out that kept him sane. At the age of 15 he would enter his first bodybuilding competition which he won; becoming the youngest ever to win the Mr. mount Lebanon. A few years later, George would move to the U.S. where at 19 he entered his first U.S. based show, winning the Mr. Lake Ontario in 1991. Flash forward to 1997, during an attempted robbery, George was shot 3 times, two in the back and 1 in the stomach. Near death he was rushed to the ER where he had over half his bowels removed. 4 months later George was released from the hospital, thankful to be alive, while he was in the hospital George lost over 70lbs, losing all his hard earned muscle. It took over a year from that point to fully recover, but never deterred, George once again set his sights on his ultimate goal.
After the long painful ordeal George hit the stage again and at the 2000 NPC Nationals George won and earned his pro card by taking the middleweight class. George was now a pro, a long hard fight to get there but he pulled it off. George is no doubt a testament to what drive and desire can achieve.
