BIO:
Gunter Schlierkamp, AKA The Gentle Giant, was born in Germany, to parents of a farming family. Always a hard worker, which comes naturaly growning up on a farm, at age 12 like so many before him, Gunter saw Arnold Schwarzenegger in the film, “Conan The Barbarian” and “Pumping Iron” and immediately he knew he had to build his body up to match his new found hero. By age 17 he would enter his first show, a show in which he would win. In 1993, Gunter would win the World Championships earning the title of Mr. Universe and beginning the start of his professional career as a bodybuilder. Shortly thereafter, Gunter would move to the U.S. to further his bodybuilding career, which would quickly lead to other avenues of pursuits; most notably his acting career. One of the most recognizable faces in the pro ranks today, Gunter since turning pro has enjoyed perhaps more success as a whole than any other modern bodybuilder today.
