BIO:

Marcus Ruhl, from Germany is best known for his freakish size, which has made him one of the fan favorites for years in the IFBB. Not originally a big guy, Marcus began training at the age of 19 with no bodybuilding goals in mind. After 4 years of grueling training, Marcus gained so much size that competing simply became inevitable. However, his first competition would be put on hold due to a shoulder injury and his first show came 1 year later in 1995. Weighing in at a very large 243lbs, Marcus entered the Bachgau Cup in Babenhausen, taking the heavy weight class and the overall title. 2 years later Marcus would compete in and win the Hessen Championships and the German Nationals.  Becoming the first ever German to win a pro card right after a victory at Nationals, Marcus jumped head first into his IFBB career. By 2000 Marcus had become a strong force in the IFBB, and due in part to his freakish dominating size, he quickly had become someone who was hard to ignore. But due to some setbacks in 2001, Marcus was forced to reevaluate his career and make some changes, but this only made him stronger and even more of a force then before. Marcus would go on to set in stone his dominating physique in the IFBB, finally retiring in 2008.
